Trustee vacancies
Charlton Toy Library is currently looking for new trustees to help support the long-term sustainability and development of our charity.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in:
- IT and digital systems
- Early years or family support services
- Facilities or operations management
- Volunteer coordination or event management
You do not need previous trustee experience. We are looking for committed, collaborative people who want to make a meaningful difference to local children and families.
Monthly board meetings are held online, with occasional in-person meetings, strategy sessions and events in Charlton and Greenwich.
If you’re interested in getting involved, we’d love to hear from you.
Feel free to pop in and have a chat with a member of the team, or send us an email if you’d like to find out more before applying or volunteering.

Donate
Charlton Toy Library is a small registered charity. It is an independent voluntary group which has to secure its own funding. That’s why fundraising is a vital part of the Toy Library’s day to day running. You will always find us selling new and used toys, organising cake sales and holding raffles. See the links below for ways to donate.
Shop and raise money

If you already shop online, then use easyfundraising and a percentage will come to us at no extra cost to you.
Gift Aid

Let us make more of your donation, by allowing us to claim back the income tax from the government.
Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a simple, tax effective way to make a regular donation. Donations made through the scheme are taken from your gross pay.
If your employer is already part of Payroll Giving then you can use Payroll Giving to make donations to us.
Donate Toys or other items

Any unwanted presents or outgrown toys? We are happy to take any good quality toys. Also we are always in need of baby equipment, craft materials, toilet roll, cleaning materials, antibacterial wipes, etc.
If you have any questions contact us.
