Charlton Toy Library’s Christmas Appeal raises over £2,600 to support families across Greenwich

Thanks to generous local support and match funding, we reached and exceeded our £1,500 Christmas target – helping bring practical help and joy to families in need.

We’re absolutely delighted to share that our 2025 Christmas Appeal raised an incredible £2,606 – thanks to the generous support of our wonderful community.

This meant we reached our £1,500 target, allowing us to provide £50 supermarket vouchers to 30 families supported by our Outreach Service – families facing significant hardship, who might otherwise have struggled to put food on the table over Christmas. Your support helped bring comfort and dignity at a time that can be especially difficult.

We’re also thrilled to share that, after our appeal was nominated by one of our trustees through a colleague match funding scheme, the Barratt Redrow Foundation contributed an additional £1,000 – bringing the total raised to over £2,600.

Any funds raised above our original target will go directly towards supporting the Toy Library’s running costs and our Outreach Service – helping us continue to provide practical, friendly support to families in Greenwich all year round.

We’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to the Barratt Redrow Foundation for their generous contribution. Their support gave our appeal a vital boost and helped every donation go even further.

And to everyone who donated, shared the appeal, or encouraged others to support – thank you. We’re so lucky to be part of such a kind and supportive community, helping us do more for the families who need us most.
